Densford Civil were awarded the early stages of land development works for the Glen Iris Estate. Upon arriving to the site the crew would be amiss to think this was the location of the next staff event as it is situated on an old golf course. Works have involved; clearing, earthworks, major underground works, street lighting installation, roadworks (including roundabout construction), install of limestone retaining walls, footpaths, kerbing, and more. A crucial aspect of this project was preserving the beautiful trees. Densford Civil collaborated with the arborist, client, and consultant to preserve as many trees as possible. Extensive root mapping was conducted using vacuum excavation, and designs were modified accordingly to protect the trees. As a result of the successful completion of the initial stages, Densford Civil continues to be awarded future stages.
