We’re seeking a motivated Leading Hand who can work with a team across various structure and bridge projects around Perth and Regional WA. A hands on position with an experienced team, providing opportunities to upskill.
Essential:
- Experience on a construction site
- Be able to work independently, as well as being a team player
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Self-motivated with ability to communicate well with contractor and team
- Commitment to OSH
- White card
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Willingness to participate in and learn all aspects of timber, concrete bridge and reinforced concrete construction.
- Flexibility with working in Perth and Regional WA when required
- Previous experience with formwork & concrete
- Ability to handle a diverse range of power and hand tools, such as grinders, hammers, drills, and more.
- Pass a medical
Desired but not essential:
- Excavator, Skid Steer Loader, EWP, Chain Saw Ticket, Working at Heights, CN ticket, Dogman, HR ticket
- Ability to weld
- Traffic Management Accreditation – BWTM & TC preferred
- Experience working on Timber Bridges
